The IDPS and their living conditions

IDPS(internally displaced people) we have been hearing this word from the past 1 month. To me its really a saddening situation as people are forced to live their homes which they have built up spending their entire lifetime on it.how can u force a person to go away from his homeland. But this is the situation you can see in NWFP.These people have migrated form the beautiful valley of SWAT,and now are living in camps. They never would have thought of this life, living in camps and bearing the scorching heat, standing in a queue and begging for food, but they are as they have no other way.
The camps have been built up at jalozai, jalala, swabi and other areas of NWFP.And the conditions there are miserable,i havent visited these camps personally but many of my friends have visited them and when they returned back they could not stop crying for hours, because the situation in the camps was worse. Many people are waiting for treatment, their is shortage of doctors as many doctors are not willing to go to the camps, i was shocked to hear this, what are doctors for,i mean why the government spend so much money on them if the cannot help in the situation of disasters, just like the armymen whether they like it or not they are forced to follow the orders, same should be done with doctors atleast government doctors.moreover their is shortage of everything, food, cloths, water, electricity. The quality of food is not good and even the quantity is not enough. Many people are still waiting to be treated for their minor injuries that they had, some people are so disappointed that they have decided to go back to thier homes,as they say if we have to die here waiting for treatment its better we die in our own homes. And this is a situation which makes me feel ashamed and angry. Why cant we help our own brothers and sisters,Children are traumatized as they have seen their parents die, many children have beocme orphaned some have lost their body parts, this will have long lasting affetcs on their mind. These people migrated from their homeland to save their life but they were unaware that they have to face the worse and many would die here, though they saved their lives from the shellling, but they cant save it from the conditions in camps.
